Heel & Ankle Protection - Gel Bodies

GelBodies provide protection for areas at risk from pressure sores and nerve damage, they are suitable for long term care and rehabilitation patients. GelBodies are used in hospitals, nursing homes and in the home care environment.

GelBodies combine breathable, stretchy coolband material with specially formulated silicone-based gel that provides soothing relief and pressure-relieving skin protection. The gel evenly distributes body weight and wont bottom out. These products are friendly, lightweight and discreet and can be worn up to 12 hours in a 24 hour period.

By Improving circulation, the GelBodies products not only prevent pressure sores from forming, but also provide the patient with added overall comfort helping them to relax.

The gel is encased in a cotton-lycra coolband that stretches for an ideal fit and feels soft against the skin.

Sizing:
Measure around the ankle above the maleoli (the two protuberances)
Small: 20 - 25cm
Medium: 25 - 30cm
Large: 30 - 36cm

Washing instructions:
Coolband: See washing symbols
Gel Pad: Remove from cool band. Wipe with a damp cloth using standard cleaning agent. It is not advised to soak gel over prolonged periods.
